Değişimlerin çok hızlı yaşandığı ve gittikçe bireyselleştiğimiz dünyada, Toplumsal dayanışma ve bütünlüğe duyulan ihtiyaçlar kendisini günden güne daha net bir şekilde hissettirmektedir. Toplumsal dayanışma ve bütünleşme kavramlarında din mefhumunun rolü yadsınamaz bir gerçekliktir. Dünyamızın ve ülkemizin moderniteden postmoderniteye doğru evrildiği şu süreçlerde dinin yaşama anlam kazandırılmasına yönelik beklentilerinde de, dine ve din görevlilerine duyulan ihtiyacın postmodern kavramların yüklediği modellemelerle görme isteği ve bu amaçla toplumu bütünleştirme adına din, din adamlarının konumunun farklı platformlarda tartışılmaya açılması ve bu tartışmaların arkasındaki itkinin geleneksel öze dönüş çabası mı, yoksa pozitivist algı ile din kurumuna bakış mı, olduğuna dair çalışmamızda, sosyolojik olarak din, Modernite ve postmodernite kavramları ile bu kavramlar doğrultusunda beklentilerin evrilmesi sürecini incelemeye çalışacağız.
In the world where everything shifts so fast and we are becoming more and more individual, the needs for social solidarity and integrations are felt more and more strongly day by day. In the concept of social solidarity and integration, the role of religion is the gospel truth. We are going to analyse the concepts of religion, modernity and postmodernity and the evoluation of expectations along the line of these concepts socially in our study the aim of which is to show whether wishing to see the need for religion and clergymen in the hopes of religion’s giving meaning to life as well with the models driven by postmodern concepts and to that end, in order to integrate society, bringing the position of religion and clergymen up for discussions on different platforms and the urge underlying these discussions are traditional attempts for going back to true self or the positivist perception’s point of view to religious institutions in the process of our country and the world evolving from modernity to post modernity
