Çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’deki üniversitelerin Eğitim Fakültelerinde öğrenim gören sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının, müzik öğretimine yönelik öz yeterlilik düzeylerini ölçebilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı geliştirmektir. Başlangıçta 23 maddeden oluşan ve 5’li Likert tipinde hazırlanan ölçek, 2006-2007 eğitim öğretim yılında Ahi Evran Üniversitesi, Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği Ana Bilim Dalı 3. ve 4. sınıfta öğrenim gören, 137 öğretmen adayına uygulanmış elde edilen veriler SPSS paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan faktör analizi sonucunda, 4 madde ölçekten çıkartılarak ölçek son halini almıştır. 11 maddesi olumlu, 8 maddesi olumsuz olan “Müzik Öğretimine Yönelik Öz Yeterlilik Ölçeği”nin Cronbach Alfa güvenirlik katsayısı ise 0.8410 olarak bulunmuştur.
The aim of this research is to develop a valid and reliable scale which will be able to asses the level of self efficacy about music education of Turkish primary school student teachers. The scale, composed of 23 questions and prepared in 5 point likert scale, was applied to 137 primary school student teachers who were 3rd and 4th grades of Ahi Evran University Education Faculty Department of Primary Education in 2006-2007 academic year. The data was analised by SPSS software programme. After the factor analysis, 4 questions were taken out of the scale. There were 11 positive questions and 8 negative questions at “The Music Education Self Efficacy Scale”. Cronbach Alfa internal integrity of the scale was found to be 0.8410
