Abstract:

The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable data collection tool for doctors to evaluate their knowledge and perceptions of clinical quality and thus to contribute to the improvement of clinical quality processes and measurement of their knowledge and perceptions of clinical quality in Turkey. Tools and Methods: The SPSS 25.0 (Statistical Program in Social Sciences) program has been used to apply the Description Factor Analysis (AFA) to the data prepared at the end of the data collection process. AMOS 24 has been used and verifying factor analysis (DFA) to test the accuracy of the factor structure of the scale obtained from the AFA result. The conformity of the model to the scale established as a result of the DFA test values have been interpreted and the scale’s final state has been made ready for use. The statistical reliability ratio is 0.95 and the significance level is 0.05 and calculations are made. Results: Factor load values for the structure validity of the clinical quality measurement of 20 substances used in the study were found between 0.536, and 0.908. The total variation’s description percentage is estimated at 65,145%. Cronbach α reliability analysis was applied to calculate the internal consistency ratio of the clinical quality scale and the Cronbach α value was calculated at approximately 0.97. The result: The study found that the "Clinical Quality Measurement" was a valid, reliable measurement tool.
