Covid-19 sürecinde eğitimde yapılan önemli tartışmalardan birisi, öğrencilerin öğrendiklerinin nasıl değerlendirileceği konusudur. Ölçme ve değerlendirme yeterlikleri, öğretmenlerin eğitim süreçlerinde yaptıkları çalışmaların sonuçlarını görmeleri ve öğrencilerdeki davranış değişimlerini belirlemeleri açısından önemlidir. Din eğitimi içerisinde çeşitli şekillerde yapılan ölçme ve değerlendirme faaliyetlerine yönelik öğretmenlerin mevcut algı ve yeterlik düzeyinde Covid-19 süreciyle birlikte beliren eksiklikler, bu çalışmanın yürütülmesinin ana gerekçisidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğretmen mesleki yeterlik alanlarından biri olan ölçme ve değerlendirme alanına yönelik olarak din dersi öğretmenlerinin yeterlik algılarının belirlenmesidir. İlişkisel tarama modelinde tasarlanan çalışma, tabakalı örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen ve Ankara ilinde görev yapan 382 din dersi öğretmeni üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Veriler, Karaca’nın geliştirdiği “Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Yeterlik Algısı Ölçeği” sayesinde toplanmış ve SPSS programı kullanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre öğretmenler genel olarak ölçme ve değerlendirme etkinlikleri hususunda kendilerini ‘kısmen yeterli’ seviyede algılamaktadırlar. Öğretmenlerin ölçme ve değerlendirme faaliyetlerine ilişkin yeterlik algıları; cinsiyet, mesleki kıdem, öğrenim düzeyi ve mezun olunan bölüm açısından anlamlı farklılık göstermektedir. Erkek, DKAB veya İDKABÖ Programı mezunları, lisansüstü eğitim mezunları ve mesleki kıdemi 5 yıl ve altında olan din dersi öğretmenleri, ölçme ve değerlendirme etkinliklerinde kendilerini daha yeterli görmektedir. Din dersi öğretmenlerinin yeterliklerine ilişkin tartışmalara yön verecek nitelikte veri sunma amacındaki bu çalışmanın literatürdeki önemli bir eksikliği gidereceği, yeni çalışma alanları oluşturacağı ve salgın sonrası süreçte din dersi öğretmenlerinin yeterliklerinin geliştirilmesine yönelik politika ve uygulamaları etkileyeceği umulmaktadır.
One of the important discussions in education in the Covid-19 process is how to evaluate what students learn. Measurement and evaluation competencies are important for teachers to see the results of their studies in their education process and to determine the behavioral changes in students. The deficiencies that appear with the Covid-19 process at the current perception and competence level of teachers regarding the measurement and evaluation activities carried out in various ways in religious education are the main reason for this study. The aim of this study is to determine the competence perceptions of religious education teachers towards the field of measurement and evaluation, which is one of the teacher professional competency areas. The study, which was designed in the relational survey model, was carried out on 382 religion teachers working in Ankara and determined by the stratified sampling method. The data were collected through the "Measurement and Evaluation Competence Perception Scale" developed by Karaca and analyzed using the SPSS program. According to the results of the research, teachers generally perceive themselves at a "partially sufficient" level in terms of measurement and evaluation activities. Competence perceptions of teachers regarding measurement and evaluation activities; show a significant difference in terms of gender, professional tenure, education level, and the department graduated from. Male, Religious Education Bachelors, graduates of postgraduate education, and religious education teachers with professional seniority of 5 years or less consider themselves more competent in assessment and evaluation activities. It is hoped that this study, which aims to provide data that will guide the debates on the competencies of religious education teachers, will eliminate an important deficiency in the literature, create new fields of study, and affect the policies and practices for the development of the competencies of religious education teachers in the post-epidemic period.
