Dünya günden güne gelişerek değişmektedir. Bu değişimle beraber rekabet iyice yoğunlaşmıştır. Rekabetin yoğun olduğu bir ortamda kaynaklarını en iyi kullanan örgütler varlıklarını sürdürebilmektedirler. Kullandıkları girdiler ile en büyük çıktı seviyesini elde edip etmemesi performans değerleme açısından önem taşımaktadır. Tüm sektörlerde olduğu gibi işletmelerin etkin bir şekilde çalışmaları otomotiv sektöründe de büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Türk sanayisinin başat sektörlerinden olan otomotiv sektörünün etkinlik değerleri hesaplanarak sektöre ilişkin performans sonuçları elde edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Etkinlik analizlerinde parametrik olmayan yöntemlerden biri olan veri zarflama analizine göre CCR modeli ve Malmquist toplam faktör verimlilik endeksi kullanılmıştır. VZA, çok sayıda girdi ve çıktıya sahip karar birimlerinin etkinliklerini ölçen doğrusal programlama tabanlı bir tekniktir. VZA durağan bir analiz iken Malmquist toplam faktör verimlilik endeksi dinamik bir analizdir. Malmquist toplam faktör verimlilik endeksi zaman içerisinde karar verme birimlerinde meydana gelen değişimlerin ölçülmesinde kullanılan bir yöntemdir. Analiz DEAP 2.1. Data Envelopment Analysis Program paket program kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Çalışmada 2015-2018 yılları baz alınarak bu dönemde kesintisiz olarak 16 işletmeye ait veriler kullanılmıştır. Analizde girdi olarak toplam aktifler, öz sermaye ve çalışan sayısı kullanılmıştır. Çıktı değişkeni olarak ise ciro ve net kar verileri kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, tüm yıllarda etkin olan iki firma var iken analiz dönemi boyunca etkinlik gösteremeyen dokuz firma olmuştur. Gözlem kümesindeki otomotiv firmalarından 2015 yılında 6 firma, 2016 yılında 4 firma, 2017 yılında 3 firma etkinlik gösterirken analizin son yılı olan 2018 yılında ise 4 firma etkin olabilmiştir. Yıllar itibariyle ortalama etkinlik derecelerinde düşüş görülmüştür. Ortalama etkinlik derecesi en yüksek yıl analizin ilk yılı olan 2015 iken, etkinlik derecesi en düşük olarak gerçekleşen yıl ise analizin son yılı olan 2018 olmuştur. Malmquist Toplam Faktör Verimliliği Endeksi değerleri ise gözlem kümesindeki 16 firmanın ortalama endeks değerlerini yıllara göre kıyaslamaktadır. Buna göre 2016 yılında düşük oranda da olsa bir düşüş yaşanırken, 2017 yılında 2016 yılına göre ve 2018 yılında da 2017 yılına göre artış görülmüştür
The world is changing from day to day. With this change, the competition has been strongly focused. In an environment where competition is intense, the organizations that best use their resources can continue to exist. It is important to note whether it is the highest level of performance and whether it is not the highest level of output. As in all sectors, the business’s efficient work is also of great importance in the automotive industry. In this study, the activity values of the automotive industry, which are the main sectors of the Turkish industry, are calculated to obtain performance results related to the sector. The world is evolving day by day. With this change, the competition has intensified. Organizations that make the most use of their resources in a competitive environment can survive. Whether they achieve the largest output level with the inputs they use is important in terms of performance valuation. Efficiency operation of businesses in automotive industry has a great importance as well as in all sectors. In this study, the efficiency values of the automotive sector, which is one of the leading sectors of Turkish industry, were calculated and performance results were tried to be obtained. In the efficiency analysis, CCR model and Malmquist total factor productivity index were used according to data envelopment analysis which is one of the non-parametric methods. DEA is a linear programing based technique measuring the efficiency of decision units in the presence of multiple input and outputs. The Malmquist total factor efficiency index is a dynamic analysis while data enveloping analysis is a stable analysis. Malmquist is a method used to measure changes in decision-making units over time with the total factor efficiency index. Analysis was conducted using the package program DEAP 2.1. Based on 2015-2018, data from 16 enterprises were used continuously during this period. In the analysis, total assets, equity capital and employee numbers were used as input factors. And also, turnover and net profit data were used as output factors. According to the results of the analysis, there were two companies efficient in all years, but there were nine companies that are not efficient in any year. Among the automotive companies in the observation cluster, 6 companies in 2015, 4 companies in 2016, 3 companies in 2017 and in the last year 4 companies in 2018 have been efficient. As of the years, average efficiency ratings have decreased. The average efficiency rating was highest in 2015 which is the first year of analysis, while it was lowest in 2018 which is the last year of the analysis. Malmquist Total Factor Efficiency Index values compare the average index values of 16 companies in the observation cluster by year. Accordingly, there was a slightdecrease in 2016, while there was an increase in 2017 compared to 2016 and in 2018 compared to 2017
