Abstract:

The United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has adopted and developed a series of measures and programs to protect, transfer and maintain cultures that are at risk of globalization and disappearance in the face of popular culture after World War II. According to a 1989 recommendation decision, a human treasury system was established with South Korea’s attraction of the attention of the mastery people. The master person expression defines people with high knowledge and skills that create non-substantial cultural heritage elements. Thus, the wise persons who are the producers of non-specific cultural heritage were taken to the center by protecting them. In Turkey from 2008 to the present day, thirty people who have proven competence from various traditional professions and art branches such as love, cowboy, chinese, cowboy, kisspet have entered the National List of Living Human Treasures. Ahmet Güldür, who performs the art of wood maket home making in Bartın, continues his profession for twenty years. He translates his traditional knowledge and experience into his cracks. It also contributes to the preservation and transmission of the city's memory with its houses. In this article in Bartın, the tree maket master Ahmet Güldür has been evaluated in the context of human treasures living life and art and has been found that it provides all the conditions for entering the national inventory.
