Sağlığın önemli bir parçası olan cinsel sağlık cinselliğe ilişkin fiziksel, duygusal ve sosyal iyilik halidir. Cinsel sağlıkla ilgili çeşitli problemler psikososyal ve ruhsal sağlığı da olumsuz etkilemektedir. Bireyin iyilik halini gözeten bir meslek ve disiplin olan sosyal hizmet açısından da cinsel sağlıkla ilişkili pek çok farklı konu bulunmaktadır. Çalışma Cinsel Sağlığa Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği’ni Türkçeye uyarlayarak geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek elde etme amacı taşımaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda kaynak kültürden/dilden Türkçeye çevrilen ölçek bağımsız uzmanlar tarafından değerlendirdikten sonra ölçeğin taslak formu elde edilmiştir. Türkiye’de sosyal hizmet bölümünde öğrenci olan toplam 441 kişinin katıldığı çalışmada veriler internet formlar aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler SPSS ve LISREL programlarıyla analiz edilmiştir. Gerçekleştirilen birinci ve ikinci düzey doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonuçlarına göre 4 alt boyut ve 21 maddeden oluşan Cinsel Sağlık Ölçeği’nin uyum indekslerinin kabul edilebilir aralıklarda olduğu saptanmıştır. Güvenilirliğe ilişkin elde edilen bulgularda ise ölçeğin bütününe ve alt boyutlara ait iç tutarlılığının yüksek olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Sonuç olarak 21 madde ve 4 alt boyuttan oluşan, 5’li likert tipindeki Cinsel Sağlık Ölçeği sosyal hizmet öğrencileri örnekleminde Türkçeye uyarlanmıştır. Uyarlanan ölçeğin cinsel sağlıkla ilişkili yürütülecek çalışmalar açısından önemli bir araç olduğu değerlendirilmiştir.
Sexual health, an important part of health, is the state of physical, emotional and social well-being related to sexuality. Different problems related to sexual health also negatively affect psychosocial and mental health. There are many different issues related to sexual health in terms of social service, which is a profession and discipline that observes the individual’s well-being status. The study aims to obtain a valid and reliable scale by adapting the attitude scale to Turkish. According to this purpose, the scale translated from source culture/language to Turkish has been obtained after assessment by independent experts. A total of 441 students from the Social Services Department in Turkey participated in the study and the data was collected via the internet forms. The data collected was analyzed with SPSS and LISREL programs. According to the results of the first and second level verifying factor analysis, the conformity index of the Sexual Health Scale, which consists of 4 sub-dimensions and 21 substances, was found to be in acceptable intervals. In the findings on reliability, it is clear that the internal consistency of the scale to the whole and the lower dimensions is high. As a result, the scale of sexual health in the 5 likert type, which consists of 21 items and 4 sub-dimensions, is adapted to Turkish in the sample of social services students. The adjusted scale is considered an important tool for studies related to sexual health.
