Abstract:

Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksek Okulu 3. sınıf ve 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin okula girişte baz alınan ÖSS puanlarının akademik başarıları üzerindeki etkisinin bulunup bulunmadığı araştırılmıştır. Spor Yüksek Okulu 4. ve 3. sınıfında öğrenim gören öğrencilerin ÖSS sınavında almış oldukları sayısal, sözel ve eşit ağırlıklı puanlarından en yüksek olanı değerlendirmeye alınarak akademik başarıları karşılaştırılmıştır. Elde edilen bulguların değerlendirilmesinden öğrencilerin ÖSS puanlarıyla akademik başarıları arasında 0.01 düzeyinde önemli bir ilişkinin bulunduğu ve buna göre ÖSS puanları yüksek olan öğrencilerin akademik başarılarının da yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır.
