Abstract:

This study aims to identify the opinions of classmates on distance learning in primary school during the Covid-19 pandemic process. The research was carried out with the participation of 35 class teachers working in Samsun and Fiskesir. The research is prepared according to a special case study, which is one of the research patterns of quality. For the obtaining of the data, a semi-configured conversation form was used. The analysis of the findings obtained from the interview forms was carried out by the method of content analysis. The concept of remote education has been found to call class teachers on interactive course processing via the internet, out-of-school education, education in different environments, internet environment, EBA, education by means of public communication, family and teacher cooperation education, self-learning, digital world, innovation, educational technology and continuous and accessible education concepts in the environment that requires limitation of interaction. It is also concluded that remote education has a significant contribution to the continuity and communication and interaction. In the process of remote learning, problems arising from the family, the student, the teacher, the medium of public communication and the environment have been determined. In addition, class teachers have achieved the results in the evaluation of students; they have already used or don’t know how to do the evaluation methods such as selectively tested, activity task, question answer method, web2.0 tools for the preparation of the event, the evaluation of videos from guardians, digital events and games and projects. Based on these findings, some recommendations have been made to teachers, families, students. Teachers in the field of distance education are advised to be taught in service.
