Bu araştırma, Şanlıurfa ilinde faaliyette bulunan süt sığırı işletmelerinde yapı ve tesislerin durumunu belirlemek, mevcut barınakların olumlu ve olumsuz yönlerini değerlendirmek, problemlerin çözümüne yönelik yeni teklifler ortaya koymak amacı ile yapılmıştır. Şanlıurfa ilinde ʺTÜRKVETʺ sistemine kayıtlı 41 sütçü işletmeye ait veriler, yetiştiricilerle yüz yüze görüşülerek yapılan anketler ve ölçümler yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Araştırmaya dahil edilen işletmelerden elde edilen verilerin sayısal değerleri ve yüzde frekansları sunulmuştur. Şanlıurfa ilinde ziyaret edilen işletmelerde yetiştiricilerin %22’sinin uzman teknik elemanlar tarafından çizilen projeye göre işletmelerini kurdukları, %82.5’inin yarı açık barınaklarda hayvancılık yaptıkları ve tümünde serbest duraklı ahır sistemi kullandıkları, %38.2’si barınak girişini güney yönünde planladıkları, %85.2’sinin barınak zemini olarak beton yapıyı tercih ettikleri, %69.7’sinin duvar yapı malzemesi olarak briket kullandıkları ve %81.88’inin de durak altlık materyali olarak kauçuk paspas kullandıkları tespit edilmiştir. İşletmecilerin %31.71’i ilkokul diplomasına sahiptir. Uzman teknik elemanlar tarafından çizilen projeye göre barınaklarını inşa edenlerde yapısal ve teknik açıdan bir problem bulunmamaktadır. Bununla birlikte, komşularını örnek alarak veya kendi tecrübelerine göre barınaklarını inşa edenler için barınak içi çevre koşullarının sağlanmasında olumsuz durumlar tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, yetiştiricilerin bilgilendirilmesi için bu konular üzerine seminerler düzenlenmesinin, ideal barınak özelliklerine sahip işletmelerin kurulmasının ve barınakların hayvan refahı kriterlerine göre yapılmasının uygun olacağı önerilmektedir.
This research was conducted with the aim of determining the state of the buildings and facilities in the dairy livestock enterprises operating in the province of Sanlıurfa, evaluating the positive and negative aspects of existing resorts, and presenting new proposals for the solution of problems. The data of the 41 milk enterprise registered in the “TÜRKVET” system in the province of Shanlıurfa were obtained through surveys and measurements carried out by face-to-face consultation with farmers. The number values and percentages of the data obtained from the enterprises involved in the research were presented. In the enterprises visited in the province of Sanlıurfa, 22% of farmers established their business according to the project drawn by specialized technical staff, 82% of them. It was found that 5 of them lived in semi-open shelters and all of them used a free-stop wood system, 38.2 percent planned the shelter entrance to the south, 85.2 percent prefered the concrete structure as a shelter floor, 69.7 percent used briket as a wall building material and 81.88 percent used rubber paspas as a shelter material. 31.71 percent of businessmen have a primary school diploma. According to the project drawn by technical experts, those who build their resorts do not have any structural and technical problems. However, negative conditions have been identified in the provision of housing environmental conditions for those who take their neighbors as an example or build their shelters according to their own experience. As a result, it is recommended that the organization of seminars on these topics to inform farmers is appropriate, the establishment of enterprises with the ideal housing characteristics and the establishment of housing according to animal welfare criteria.
