Abstract:

This study aims to examine the opinions of teachers candidates for pre-school education on the quality dimensions of early childhood education for immigrant children. In the research, one of the quality research methods has been used a specific state design. This study was conducted with 12 teachers candidates who are studying in the Main Science Department of Pre-School Teaching at a state university located in the Anatolian Region. Of the 12 participants selected by the purpose sample method, 6 teachers candidates are Turkish citizens and 6 teachers candidates are immigrants/strangers. The current research has used the Demographic Information Form (DBF), the Migrant Education Compatibility Activities Ranking (GEUES) form and the interview form consisting of questions. The analysis of the data obtained in the quality research has been preferred by all-inclusive content analysis. According to the research findings, teachers candidates have expressed their opinions in the seven themes, including relatives, community, teachers, family, children, class/learning environment and pedagogical recommendations for the quality of pre-school education for children. There are several recommendations based on the research results.
