Abstract:

This study was conducted to examine the perspectives of the teachers working in the school, which consists of all foreign students, on the profession. Research; It was held in the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year, with five primary school teachers working in the official primary school, which was opened to the camp where the citizens from Syria settled in the Sarıçam district of Adana province. The research model was planned as a qualitative research method. A fully structured interview form was used as the research data collection tool. There are four questions in the interview form. Five primary school teachers who volunteered to participate in the study from official school teachers signed a volunteer form and a suitable time was determined for the interview. Individual interviews were conducted. The pre-prepared interview questions were asked to the teachers without changing their order and were recorded in writing. Each interview lasted an average of 20 minutes. At the end of the study, it was seen that all of the teachers had a different experience. They stated that they lowered their success goals and were happy with even the slightest improvement. They stated that they had problems with language the most. They stated that teachers who work with foreign students should be people who have high empathy skills, patience and can use body language correctly
