Bu araştırmada, pandemi sürecinde 3-15 yaş aralığında çocuklara sahip babaların, çocuklarına yönelik babalık algı düzeylerini ve bu algı düzeyinin çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Nevşehir merkez ilçelerinden kura yöntemi ile seçilen bir kasabanın ilkokul ve ortaokulun da öğrenim gören toplam 120 öğrencinin babası araştırmanın evrenini oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın örneklemini araştırmaya gönüllü katılan 98 baba oluşturmuştur. Araştırma, nicel türde ilişkisel tarama modelinde bir çalışmadır. Çalışmanın veri toplama araçları “Demografik Soru Formu” ve “Babalık Rolü Algı Ölçeği”dir. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlarda, pandemi sürecinde babaların çocuklarına dair babalık algı oranlarının yüksek olduğu ve çocuklarıyla babalık ilişkilerinin iyi düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca babaların, babalık algılarında eğitim durumları ve yaş değişkenlerine ilişkin anlamlı farklılık olduğu belirlenmiştir. Babaların pandemi döneminde çocukları ile ilişki durumlarının olumluluk düzeylerine bakıldığında, %86 oranında evde olmalarından dolayı, olumlu etkilendiğini belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca babaların pandemi döneminde çocukları ile etkileşim süreleri incelendiğinde, babaların çocuklarıyla etkileşim sürelerinde %87 oranında artış olduğu belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler sonucunda, pandemi sürecinde babaların, babalık rolü algılarının olumlu yönde etkilendiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, toplumdaki tüm babalarda ve baba adaylarında babalık algılarında artışın sağlanması ve farkındalığın oluşturulması için babalara yönelik bilinçlendirici kurs ve seminerlerin yapılması önerilir.
It was aimed to examine the level of fatherhood perception of fathers with children between the ages of 3-15 towards their children during the pandemic process and to examine this perception level in terms of various variables. The fathers of a total of 120 students studying in primary and secondary schools of a town selected by lottery method from the central districts of Nevşehir constitute the population of the study. The sample of the study consisted of 98 fathers who voluntarily participated in the study. The research is a quantitative type relational survey model study. The data collection tools of the study are "Demographic Questionnaire" and "Fatherhood Role Perception Scale". In the results obtained in the study, it was determined that during the pandemic process, fathers had high rates of fatherhood perceptions about their children and their fatherhood relationships with their children were at a good level. In addition, it was determined that there was a significant difference in fathers' perceptions of fatherhood in relation to their educational status and age variables. Considering the positivity levels of the fathers' relationship status with their children during the pandemic period, 86% stated that they were positively affected by being at home. In addition, when the interaction time of the fathers with their children during the pandemic period was analyzed, it was determined that there was an 87% increase in the interaction time of the fathers with their children. As a result of the data obtained, it was concluded that fathers' perceptions of fatherhood role were positively affected during the pandemic process. It is recommended to conduct awareness-raising courses and seminars for fathers in order to increase the perceptions of fatherhood in all fathers and father candidates in the society and to create awareness.
