Geçmişten günümüze bilgi ve bilgi kavramları önem kazanmaktadır. Teknolojik gelişmeler sayesinde kavramlar sistematik hale getirilerek yönetim süreçleri kolaylaştırılmıştır. Bilgi sistemlerinin kullanımı daha hızlı, daha etkili ve verimli sonuçları destekledikçe hızla yaygınlaşmaktadır. Farklı organizasyon türleri nedeniyle, çeşitli bilgi sistemlerine olan ihtiyaç artmaktadır. Makalede bilgi ve bilgi kavramları, süreç içerisindeki gelişimi, sistemin özellikleri, türleri ve önemi vurgulanmaktadır. Sivil toplum kuruluşları kavramsal, işlevsel ve örgütsel açıdan incelenmiştir. Son olarak, sivil toplum kuruluşlarında bilgi sistemlerinin önemi ve uygulaması ortaya çıkarılmıştır.
Information and knowledge concepts are gaining importance from past to present. Thanks to technological advances, concepts have been systematized, thus facilitating management processes. Since the use of information systems is spreading rapidly as they support faster, more effective, and efficient results. Due to different types of organizations, the need for various information systems is increasing. In the article, the concepts of knowledge and information, its development in the process, features, types, and importance of the system are emphasized. Civil society organizations were analyzed in terms of conceptual, functional, and organizational aspects. Finally, the importance and implementation of information systems in civil society organizations have been revealed.
