Abstract:

Classical Arabic Literature has become a modern state since the late 19th century and has been defined as Modern Arabic Literature. This period of literature has changed in many ways. One of these changes is that which is considered during this period. Although the classical Arabic literature has poems related to family, child and child education, the children’s literature has found life with modern Arabic literature in this period, and these topics have become more important and more places to them. The existence of a solid society depends on a solid family structure. Of course, in this solid family structure, the education of children in many aspects is in the forefront. Therefore, in children’s literature, which is especially important by strong societies, children are presented in different content subjects for their development in many aspects. These are topics alongside the family topic, such as parental love, country love, environment and animal love. It is also frequently addressed to religious emotions, moral values, friendship and fraternity. The dealing with these different contents is for the development of children’s mental, psychological, cultural, social, linguistic and national-spiritual emotions. In the modern sense, the predecessors of the children’s poems are the names such as Muhammad Herrâvî, Rifâe et-Tahtâvî, Muhammad Osman Celâl, Ahmet Shevki, Abdüttevâb Yusuf, Suleyman el-Isâ, Ahmed Necîb, Abdürrezzâk Ca’fer, Ahmed Sweylem, Ahmed Zerzûr, Zekeriyâ Tâmir, Ali es-Sıkılî. This article will include family and child-themed poems discussed by some of these poets leading the Modern Child Arabic Literature.
