Abstract:

The aim of this research is to determine the experiences of individuals buying and using electric bicycles. In the study, the intertwined multi-state design of the qualitative research method was used. The research data was collected through the Google forms system from 30 participants who purchased and actively used electric bicycles and were selected in accordance with the criterion sampling technique. The data obtained in writing were deciphered by content analysis. As a result of the study; It has been determined that the electric bicycle has started to be preferred as a result of the change in socioeconomic and sociocultural conditions, that it is mostly used for transportation purposes but also for recreation purposes, that it has many social, economic and health benefits, that there are technical aspects that need to be developed because it is a new technology and that improvements related to infrastructure should be made as soon as possible in order to spread the use.
