Abstract:

The Albanians have the characteristic of being a nation ruling the Ottoman State for five centuries with the Turks because the majority of the population is Muslim. While Turkey is following a completely independent policy under the leadership of Atatürk in the liberation and organization, in the same period, Albania, which was absent of a leader like Atatürk, passed from the Republic to the Kingdom by giving agreements to Italy. Albania, which has not been included in the Balkan Pact with the influence of Italy, is faced with this country’s occupation. The king and his two-day son and wife, lohusa, left their throne and their throne and had to refuge first to Greece and then to Turkey. The first study in an academic study of the Devrik King's two-month visit (03 May - 01 July 1939) on the basis of the Turkish press (because the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Turkish Diplomatic Archive and the State Archives Archives of the Republic cannot be documented) constitutes the originality of this article. The reflection of the occupation of Albania on the Turkish press and Turkish foreign policy, as it was a separate scientific study subject, this study was limited to the refuge of King Zog to Turkey.
