Kütahya/simav Bölgesindeki Biyolojik Olarak Zarar Görmüş Anadolu Kestanesinin (castanea Satıva Mıll) Odunlarının Teknolojik Özelliklerinin Belirlenmesi

Bu çalışmada, Kütahya ilinin Simav ilçesinde doğal yayılış gösteren ve Cryphonectria parasitica’nın arız olduğu Anadolu Kestane (Kanserli) ağaçları belirlenerek bu ağaçların bazı teknolojik özellikleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında yaklaşık 22-34 cm çap aralığında kanserli ve sağlık kestane ağaçları Simavın Demirciköy Belediyesi Karacalar Mahallesi bölgesinden ve yaklaşık 950 m rakımda belirlenerek dipten kesilmiştir. Kesilen ağaçlara önce doğal kurutma yapılmış ve standartlara uygun olarak biçilmiştir. Biçilen kerestelerden standartlara uygun test numuneleri kesilmiştir. Hazırlanan örnekler oda koşullarında şartlandırıldıktan sonra standartlara uygun olarak mekanik (eğilme, MOE ve basınç) ve fiziksel (yoğunluk, sertlik, renk değişimi ve parlaklık) özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, kanserli ağaçlardan elde edilen örneklerin mekanik özellikleri sağlıklı olan ağaçlardan elde edilen örneklere göre daha düşük çıkmıştır. Kanserli örneklerin sertlik değerleri sağlıklı örneklere göre daha yüksek çıkmıştır. Kanserli örnekler sağlıklı örneklere göre daha az parlak ve L* değerlerine göre daha siyah, a* değerlerine göre daha kırmızı ve b* değerlerine göre ise daha sarı olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract:

In this study, Anatolian Chestnut (Cancer) trees, which naturally spread in Simav/Kütahya, damaged by Cryphonectria parasitica were chosen, and some technological properties of these trees were tried to be determined. Within the scope of the study, cancerous and healthy chestnut trees with a diameter of approximately 22-34 cm were determined from Simav (Demirciköy Municipality, Karacalar region) at an altitude of approximately 950 m and cut from the bottom. The cut trees were first dried naturally and sawn into small-size timber in accordance with the standards. Test samples in accordance with the standards were cut from the sawn timber. The samples were conditioned at room conditions in the climate cabinet, then mechanical (bending, MOE and compression) and physical (density, hardness, colour change and gloss) properties of them were determined in accordance with the standards. As a result, the mechanical properties of the samples obtained from cancerous trees were lower than the samples obtained from healthy trees. The hardness values of the cancerous samples were higher than the healthy samples. It was determined that cancerous samples were less bright, blacker, redder and more yellow compared to healthy samples.
