İslam medeniyeti mescit (cami) merkezlidir. Kurulduğu günden itibaren Müslümanları bir arada tutan, onları vahyin potasında eriten yerlen olan mescitler yüzyıllarca Müslümanlara hayat veren mezkezler olarak varlığını sürdürmüştür. Mescitler tarihi süreçte fonksiyonlarından önemli bir kısmını kaybetmiş ve 21. yüzyılın yaşam şartları ile insanlar mescitlerden uzaklaştırmıştır. İlk dönem İslam toplumu örnekliğinde mescitlerin fonksiyonelliğinin artırılması ve yeni bir ruh ve heyecanla tekrar hayatın merkezleri haline getirilmesi için çalışmalar yapılmalıdır. Bu bağlamda mescitleri cemaatle doldurmak, buraları ilmi faaliyetlere uygun hale getirmek, zikir, sohbet vb. faaliyetler düzenlemek bu mekanları fonksiyonel hale getirebilmek için yapılması gereken çalışmaların başında gelmektedir. Ayrıca geleneğimizde önemli yerleri olan İslam büyüklerinden bazılarının mescitlerle olan özel irtibat ve ilişkileri öne çıkarılarak bir farkındalık oluşturulması bu kapsamda önemli katkılar sağlayacaktır. Bu çalışmada kaynaklarda kendilerine “mescit güvercini” şeklinde lakap takılan sahâbe ve tâbiin neslinden 8 kişiden bahsedilecektir. Bahse konu bu kişilerin zamanlarının büyük bölümünü mescitlerde geçirdikleri, kalplerinin mescitlere bağlı olduğu, mescitlere olan bağlılıkları sebebiyle yaşadıkları dönemlerde bu şekilde künyelendirildikleri anlaşılmaktadır. Sahabe ve tâbiin neslinden bazı önemli kişilerin de içinde bulunduğu mescit güvercinlerinin hayat hikayeleri ve mescitlerle irtibatlarının öne çıkarılması, geleneği önemseyen günümüz Müslümanlarının mescitlerle irtibatını güçlendirme noktasında olumlu etkiler doğuracaktır. Genellikle bütün dinlerde pozitif bir hayvan olarak görülen güvercine İslam geleneği ve Türk kültüründe de kutsal gözle bakılmış, mescitlerde yuva yaptıkları gerekçesi ile güvercinlerin eti yenmediği gibi, dinen haram olmadığı halde bazı bölgelerde haram kabul edilmiştir. Dolayısıyla cami, mescit, güvercin ve mescit güvercinleri fenomenlerinin birlikte değerlendirilip mezcedilmesi, kalbi ve zihni bağlamda Anadolu insanında pozitif etkiler oluşturarak mescitlere ilgiyi artırabilecektir. Böylece mescit ve camilerin fonksiyonel hale getirilmesine önemli katkılar sağlanmış olacaktır.
The Islamic civilization is the center of the mosque (Cami). From the day of its establishment, the mosquitoes that hold Muslims together, and settled them in the wrath of the revelation, have continued to exist as mosquitoes that have lived Muslims for centuries. The mosques have lost a significant part of their functions in the historical process and with the conditions of life of the 21st century, people have been removed from the mosques. In the first period of Islamic society, work must be done to enhance the functionality of mosques and to make them again the centers of life with a new spirit and excitement. In this context, filling the mosques with the community, making these places suitable for knowledge activities, memories, conversations, etc. Organizing activities is the beginning of the work that needs to be done in order to make these spaces functional. Furthermore, the creation of a consciousness by highlighting the private contacts and relationships with the mosques of some of the Islamic great places, which are important in our tradition, will make significant contributions to this scope. In this study, the sources will refer to themselves in the form of the "Messic Bear" of the Sahabe and the Tabian generation. It is clear that these people spend much of their time in the mosques, their hearts are connected to the mosques, their devotion to the mosques, and in the period they live in this way. The highlight of the life stories and contacts with the mosques, including some important persons from the Sahabe and the Tabin generation, will have a positive impact on the strengthening of the contact with the mosques of today’s Muslims who care about the tradition. It is often seen as a positive animal in all religions as the Islamic tradition and in the Turkish culture as a sacred eye, and in some regions it is considered illegal, although it is not illegal, as the pigs do not eat the meat because they are home in mosques. Thus, the mosque, mosque, butterfly and mosque butterfly phenomena will be evaluated together and messed, and will be able to increase interest in mosques by creating positive effects in the Anadolu people in the context of their heart and mind. This will make a significant contribution to the functioning of mosques and mosques.
