Abstract:

The study was conducted in order to study the levels of school managers performing their technological leadership roles according to teachers’ perceptions and whether these levels differ or not according to some demographic variables. The research is carried out in a visual scan model. The target universe of the research is the 2020-2021 educational year, while teachers who work in the state schools located in the province of Istanbul or Pendik and the sample consists of 362 teachers selected from this universe. The study used the "Technology Leadership Scale of School Managers" developed by Sincar (2013) as a data collection tool. The research data is collected through electronic form. The analysis of the data has been used by visual analysis and comparison analysis. Teachers have studied 4 under-dimensional perceptions based on gender, age, state of learning and the type of school they work. As a result of the research, the perception of teachers about the levels of the school managers performing their technological leadership roles was high. The perceptions of teachers about the levels of the school managers performing the technological leadership roles have come to the conclusion that teachers only differentiated significantly in the lower dimension of human concentration according to gender, and only in the lower dimension of support according to professional status. It has been determined that the teachers' perceptions of the level of performance of the technology leadership roles of school managers have not changed according to the state of learning and the educational stages. The research has made a number of recommendations.
