Abstract:

Recently, sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, which have become increasingly widespread in various sectors, stand out as an important step both for the protection of natural resources and for a sustainable future. The increase in this trend has led various sectors to strengthen their commitments to minimize their negative impacts on nature and to conduct a more environmentally friendly business. Therefore, sustainability brings about a significant transformation in every sector. Sustainability manifests itself in various forms of implementation in different sectors. These practices can be realized in energy efficiency, waste management, recycling, environmentally friendly production processes, and many other areas. In this context, the emerging green consensus in Europe provides an important example of sustainability efforts. The green consensus aims to achieve sustainability goals in various sectors and brings important policies and practices in this context. In our article, we will analyze in detail how the green consensus in Europe was formed, its sectoral impacts, and its importance, especially for the logistics sector.
