Bu araştırmada farklı fakülte ve bölümlerde eğitim gören lisans öğrencilerinin girişimcilik eğilimlerinin girişimcilik eğitimi, niyeti ve çeşitli sosyo-demografik değişkenlerle ilişkisinin karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Böylece, potansiyel girişimci olan ve yakın zamanda iş hayatına atılacak olan bireylerin girişimcilik özelliklerini ortaya çıkarmak ve ilişkili olduğu değişkenleri belirlemek hedeflenmektedir. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2019-2020 güz yarı yılında Düzce Üniversitesi İşletme, Mühendislik ve İlahiyat fakültesinde öğrenim gören öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri, yüz yüze anket yöntemiyle elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen 525 anket verisi, SPSS paket programı kullanılarak frekans analizi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA), faktör analizi, bağımsız iki örneklem t-testi, ki-kare analizi ve lojistik regresyon yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, girişimci eğilimi ölçeğine yönelik yapılan faktör analizi sonucu girişimci kişilik özelliğini açıklayan dört özgüven, kontrol odağı, risk alabilme ve başarı motivasyonu olmak üzere temel boyut elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın bir diğer sonucu, girişimci kişilik özelliklerinin başta eğitim görülen fakülte olmak üzere çeşitli sosyo-demografik değişkenlere göre farklılık gösterdiğidir. Ayrıca girişimcilik eğitiminin girişimcilik niyetiyle ilişkili olduğu tespit edilmiş, anne/babanın ve yakın çevrede girişimci bulunmasının da girişimcilik niyetiyle ilişkili olduğuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu araştırma, üniversite öğrencilerin girişimci kişilik özeliklerinin farklılığına neden olan faktörlerin belirlenmesi ve girişimcilik niyetinin ilişkili olduğu değişkenlerin ortaya çıkarılması açısından önemli arz etmektedir.
This study aims to compare the entrepreneurial training, intention and the relationship of entrepreneurial trends of graduate students studying in different faculties and departments with various socio-demographic variables. Thus, it is aimed at revealing the entrepreneurial characteristics of individuals who are potential entrepreneurs and will soon be put into the business life and identifying the variables they are related to. The universe of research is formed by students studying at the Faculty of Business, Engineering and Theology at Düzce University in the 2019-2020 semester. The research data was obtained by the face-to-face survey method. The obtained 525 survey data were analyzed using the SPSS package program by using frequency analysis, one-way variance analysis (ANOVA), factor analysis, independent two sample t-test, ki-core analysis and logistical regression method. The research resulted in a factor analysis based on the scale of entrepreneurial tendency and achieved four basic dimensions that explain the characteristics of entrepreneurial personality: self-confidence, control focus, risk-taking and success motivation. Another result of the study is that entrepreneurial personality characteristics vary according to various socio-demographic variables, including the faculty that is primarily educated. It is also found that entrepreneurial education is related to entrepreneurial intention, and that the mother/father and the entrepreneur in the nearby environment are also related to entrepreneurial intention. This research provides an important contribution to the determination of the factors that cause the differences in entrepreneurial personality characteristics of university students and the detection of the variables in which entrepreneurial intention is associated.
