Özel Yetenek Sınavı ile Öğrenci Alan Öğretmenlik Bölümlerinde Öğrenim Gören Öğrencilerin Mesleğe Yönelik Tutum ve Durumluk- Sürekli Kaygı Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Bu çalışma, özel yetenek sınavı ile öğrenci alan öğretmenlik bölümlerinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarını ve durumluk-sürekli kaygı düzeylerini belirlemek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi, Resim-İş ve Müzik Öğretmenliği bölümlerinde öğrenim görmekte olan 130 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutum ölçeği ve durumluk-sürekli kaygı ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veriler üzerinde betimsel istatistiklerin yanı sıra t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi, pearson korelasyon testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, öğrencilerin öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarının olumlu, durumluk ve sürekli kaygılarının ise orta düzeyde olduğu bulunmuştur. Birinci ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumları, durumluk ve sürekli kaygıları karşılaştırıldığında her üç bölümde de dördüncü sınıflar lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farka ulaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumları ve kaygı düzeyleri bölüm değişkeni açısından farklılık göstermemektedir. Ayrıca, durumluk ve sürekli kaygı arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı pozitif yönde ve orta seviyede bir ilişki bulunmuştur.

Abstract:

This study was conducted with the aim of determining the attitudes to the teaching profession of students studying in the teaching departments of the student's special skill exam and the status-continuous level of concern. The examples of the study are made by 130 students who are studying in the Department of Body Education, Picture-Business and Music Teaching at Abant İzzet Baysal University. The research has used the scale of attitude towards the teaching profession as a data collection tool and the scale of state-continuous concern. In addition to the visual statistics on the data, the t-test, one-way variance analysis, the pearson correlation test were applied. The study found that the students’ attitudes towards the teaching profession were positive, while the situation and constant concerns were on a medium level. Comparing the attitudes, situation and constant concerns of first and fourth class students towards the teaching profession, statistically significant differences have been achieved in both three sections in favour of the fourth class. The attitudes of students towards the teaching profession and the levels of concern are not different from the point of view of the department variable. In addition, there was a statistically meaningful positive and medium-level relationship between the condition and constant anxiety.
