Abstract:

: During the fırst half of XIX th ceııtury, classical Ottoman poets have gone much further in public pleasure for poems, utilization of daily speakiııg language and daily life events. But as there were no strong and creative artists brought up, the writteıı things were either copies or did not go further than unpleasent and simple trials. During the fırst half of this century, many poets representing the classical Ottoman Poetry were raised. One of them is Sa 'di. Iıı the poets of Nedim style poetry follower Sa 'di an expression style closer to sincere and colloquial language is noticed, but, no newness is seen either by manner or coııtent. His only work of art is his Divaııçe, where he collected his poets during his youth term
