Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the impact of the teaching on the success of the students in the chemistry lesson in the 10th class "Industrial and Animal Energy" unit of the "Hydrocarbons" subject with the study sheets supported by the method of predicting et-observing-openly TGA. The research work group consists of 100 students studying in four different 10th class branches in two Anadolu High Schools in the 2016-2017 educational year. The study used a semi-experimental pattern of the pre-test-sontest control group. There are two experiment groups, two control groups. While TGA-backed worksheets are applied in the experimental groups, the traditional method is applied in the control groups. The chemistry course prepared by the researcher as a data collection tool has been used to test success. In the study, high school students found that there was a significant difference between the pre-test score of the chemistry course success, the analysis method was applied to eliminate this effect between the pre-tests. The research results have found that the difference between the chemistry course success test estest points is statistically meaningful. The meaningful difference is between Group 1 and Group 2 Control. This result shows that TGA-backed paper leaves are an effective teaching material in increasing the success of chemistry lessons.
