Türkmenlerin Rus hâkimiyetine boyun eğmek zorunda kaldıkları Göktepe Savaşları; ulusal bilinç ve millet kimliği kazanma noktasında önemli dönemeçlerin aşılmasına katkı sağlamıştır. Göktepe Savaşları, bu trajediyi yakından yaşayan toplumsal hayatı incitici sonuçlar içeriyor olsa da, millî kimliğe vetarihî hafızaya güç vermiş ve bu iki düşünceyi beslemiştir.Sanatçının, dünyayı değiştirmek ve dönüştürmek gibi bir işlevinin olduğu bilinmektedir. Özellikle milletin ve devletin çözülüş dönemlerinde, sanatın her biçimi, yeni bir dünyanın tasavvuru için önemli bir rol üstlenir. Yazar, bir anlamda yalnızlığa itilen toplumun vicdanıdır. Türkmen yazar Ata Govşudov’da, Göktepe Savaşı ve sonrası devri edebî bir metinde ortaya koyarak, millî ruhu, ortak kimliği harekete geçirmeye veyeniden inşa etmeye çalışmıştır. Bu makalede de Ata Govşudov’un Ferman romanından hareketle, millî kimliğin yenideninşası sürecinde millî kültür unsurlarının nasıl kullanıldığı ortaya konulmaya çalışılacaktır
The Göktepe Wars, in which the Turkmenists were forced to obey the Russian rule, contributed to the overcoming of important shifts in the point of gaining national consciousness and national identity. Though the Göktepe Wars have damaging consequences for the social life that lives closely with this tragedy, it has given the national identity the power to the vetarian memory and has fed these two thoughts.The artist is known to have a function like changing and transforming the world. Especially in the periods of dissolution of the nation and the state, every form of art plays an important role in the design of a new world. The author is the conscience of a society in a sense pushed to loneliness. In the Turkmen writer Ata Govshudov, the Göktepe War and the subsequent period in a literary text, the national spirit, the common identity, attempted to move and rebuild. In this article, we will also try to figure out how the elements of the national culture were used in the process of the restoration of national identity, moving from the Roman Ferman of Ata Govshudov.
