Abstract:

His own Reşat Nuri Güntekin comes at the head of the names that extend the map of the place of our literature with his works. The writer who knows that knowing the geography and the space will mean knowing our people, does not miss any opportunity to observe the interaction between man and space in his foreign trips. The cafés, which gather in their various qualities, are the first stations where they go, trying to reveal in their works what these institutions mean for our country and our people. When doing this, the coffee shops make it one of the elements of romanesthetics. These institutions, which in their works discuss the duty of civilization in a variety of ways, while a shelter for lovers and lonely, also offer people the possibility of socialization. A new step into life is taken here, considered and important decisions are made. The cafés, the most convenient places to keep the pulse of society, are also the places where we can see the various reflections of public morality.
