Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to study the biographical novel by the Republican Conservative Ismail Hakkı Baltacıoğlu, written by Prof. Dr. Irfan Erdoğan: The Life of an Educational Inquisitor. Ismael Haki Baltacıoğlu is an educator that is still very interested and discussed on his ideas today. But Ismael's right Baltacioğlu was the subject of a novel for the first time. In the work of Prof. Dr. Irfan Erdoğan, the nine-two-year life of Ismail Hakkı Baltacıoğlu was discussed in five circles. In the study of this work, it was first attempted to identify the place where the work stands in the biographical novel tradition in Turkey. After that, the subject and the subject of the subject were determined. The work was analyzed in the context of relationships with the space of time, real fiction and novel characters. The contents of the work are the life of Ismail Haki Baltacıoğlu, and the general topic is dedicated to education. When speaking of individuals and institutions, the author frequently applied to the teaching narrative technique. This work, the first literary work of the author, was written in a way that corresponds to the realistic tradition. The real characters are in the front. He introduced his reader to the Ottoman and Early Republic period educational institutions, his educators and through a fluent and stable language.
