Abstract:

One of the most important elements that have played a role in the country’s economic growth and development in recent years is entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship and the competitiveness of the countries are increasing, and the economic and social problems can be resolved faster. Therefore, countries should constantly analyze and develop the entrepreneurial potential of the human resources they own. In this study, the relationship between personality characteristics and entrepreneurial potential, one of the most important determinants of entrepreneurship, has been modeled with the Adaptive Network-Based Bully Output System (ANFIS). The purpose of ANFIS is to identify personality characteristics that affect both the entrepreneurial potential and to predict the entrepreneurial potential of a person depending on the personality characteristics. The research finds that the need for achievement, uncertainty tolerance and innovation have the most impact on the entrepreneurial potential, the risk-taking, control focus and self-confidence have the least impact on the personality characteristics and that ANFIS’s estimated performance is 90.47%.
