Televizyon, eğitim, sanat ve edebiyat gibi çeşitli alanlarda yapmış olduğu araştırma ve analizlerle kültürel üretim ve tüketim süreçlerini inceleyen Pierre Bourdieu, tüketicilerin habitusuna ve alandaki eylemlerine odaklanarak bir kültür kuramı oluşturur. Sosyal medya da üretici ve kullanıcıları ile düşünüldüğünde Bourdieu’nün temel kavramlarından biri olan alanı işaret etmektedir. Sosyal medya, Bourdieu’cü perspektiften bakıldığında habitusların mücadele alanı olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır ve bu mecralar günümüzde daha çok kullanıcı odaklı bir görünüme sahip olsa da kullanıcılar, kendilerine sunulmuş olan bu alanlarda çeşitli sınıfsal ilişkilerin üreticisi ve temsilcisi konumunda olabilmektedirler. Youtube fenomenleri ya da Youtuberlar, sosyal medya alanında bu konuda düşünülmesi gereken önemli etkileyicilerdir. Bu çalışmada, sınıfsal tahakküm ilişkilerinin dijital dünyaya taşınması sorunsalından yola çıkılarak amaçlı örneklem yoluyla belirlenen iki Youtuber Bourdieu’nün sosyolojisi çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın temel amacı, Bourdieu’nün sınıf, beğeni ve simgesel sermaye kavramları temelinde Youtuberler’ın sınıfsal farklılıkların üreticisi ve temsilcisi olup olmadıklarını ortaya koymaktır. Boomsocial verilerine göre takipçi sayısı en yüksek iki kanal olan Danla Bilic ve Merve Özkaynak’ın üç videosu netnografik analiz yöntemi ile ele alınmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda her iki Youtuber’ın da hâkim sınıfların sahip olduğu simgesel formları sosyal medya alanında takipçilerine sundukları ve sınıfsal ikilikleri üreten temsilciler oldukları tespit edilmiştir.
Pierre Bourdieu, who studies the processes of cultural production and consumption with his research and analysis in a variety of fields such as television, education, art and literature, creates a cultural theory focusing on consumer habitat and actions in the field. Social media also indicates the field that is one of Bourdieu's core concepts when it is considered to be producers and users. Social media, from the Bourdieu’s perspective, appears to us as the fighting area of habitats, and although these mecras today have a more user-oriented appearance, users can be the producers and representatives of various class relationships in these areas that are presented to them. YouTube phenomena or Youtubers are important influencers that need to be considered in the field of social media. In this study, two Youtuber Bourdieu’s sociology was studied in the framework of the two Youtuber Bourdieu’s sociology, which was determined through a target sample, starting from the problem of the transfer of class relations to the digital world. The main objective of the study is to reveal whether YouTuber is the producer and representative of class differences on the basis of Bourdieu’s class, likes and symbolic capital concepts. According to Boomsocial data, the three videos of Danla Bilic and Merve Özkaynak, the two channels with the highest number of followers, have been addressed by the netnographic analysis method. The study found that both youtuber were representatives that presented their followers in social media the symbolic forms that the ruling classes possess and produced class twins.
