Abstract:

Instead of public employment, it is necessary that, in addition to the proper determination of entrepreneurship policies, the resources aimed at this purpose may be used effectively and efficiently in order to be able to adapt to the new economic conditions depending on the entrepreneurship of the private sector. It is also necessary to correctly determine who people with entrepreneurial intention and successful entrepreneurs can be. For this purpose; in this study, the impact of entrepreneurial personality characteristics on entrepreneurial intention was tested by students studying at Batman University and again in this context, the study was conducted whether the students of Batman University had a personality towards the entrepreneurial personality structure. 6 hypotheses have been developed and 915 current surveys have been taken to be evaluated and surveyed to the students of the Batman University to test these hypotheses. The six-scale factors (dimensions) have been gathered "the need for success, being innovative, the focus of control, taking risks, uncertainty tolerance and the intention of entrepreneurship". The analysis found that the research was reliable, that the student’s personality characteristics significantly influenced the entrepreneurial intention, and that the student’s Batman University has a high level of entrepreneurial intention depending on the personality structures. These results have been given opinions and suggestions to the public and all stakeholders.
