Abstract:

The developments that follow the conquest of Iran, which constitutes an important phase of Islamic history, have a great importance for the relations of Turks with Muslims. Especially in the Caucasus geography, the conflicts of interest between East Rome and Muslims and the conflicts with Turks had changed the course of the region’s history. During the Abbasian period, the administration of the region by the Turkish governors had this time begun a new period between Muslim Turks and the people of the region. The Sâco sons had fully controlled the administration in the region and cleansed it from the influence of other forces, as well as the Islamization of the region and the Turkization of the region. Although the Islamic Muslims, who chronologically addressed the events from the creation to the time they lived, have given a lot of information about this family, they have been a little missing about the information about their activities in the region. In this study, the Islamic sources in Arabic were studied and tried to evaluate what they gave about the Sâco sons.
