Abstract:

Glass is a special material that has been used in the creation of many artistic and industrial objects since its discovery. The increase in the use of glass both in artistic and daily life has brought more glass production. Within the scope of this study, with the use of waste glasses, a new approach in glass art has been introduced to produce original works of art, to save raw materials, to protect energy resources and to reduce environmental pollution. Cold glass forming methods were used in the production of artistic glasses. Glass and bottle/jar waste produced during production in Camevi Workshop were used as waste glass. In this way, production and design proposals have been presented for recycling of glass waste in the field of art.
