Abstract:

The pre-school period is the period from the child's birth to the primary school, and all the educational activities carried out during this period are called pre-school education (Oktay, 1990). Mathematics is one of the important fields of cognitive learning to be addressed in the pre-school period (Davenport & Johnston, 2015). A qualified mathematical education that will be given to children in the pre-school period has an important role in children’s preparation for primary education, as it can prevent learning difficulties that may occur in the early school years. Therefore, learning experiences that will be designed for children to experience rich math learning experiences during the pre-school period are very important (Güven, Öztürk, Karataş, Arslan, & Şahin, 2018). In order to improve the ability of students to recognize the numbers (1-9) from their mathematical skills before school, the objects of the BDE and the dynamic learning objects without a training to be given to the students by presenting the objects to realize their own learning and the purpose of the research is to compare the use of the dynamic learning objects of these students with the students taught. The work group of this study is made up of children in the range of 54-72 months who are actively trained in a maternal school within the Ministry of National Education in Erzurum province. Research is a state study that is one of the quality research techniques. The data was obtained through observation technique. In the study, for the collection of data, the researchers took observation notes by observing how students use learning objects, student interests and willingness situations, reactions. The observation resulted in the use of the visual analysis method for the analysis process. The observation resulted in the increased desire and interest of students who did not be trained for the use of dynamic learning objects and discover themselves in time and identify objects, who used them, who were able to use the objects at the same level as the students who were trained, who were not trained in the first days, when they were tired of not being able to discover the object.
