Abstract:

The Syrian crisis, which began in March 2011 with peaceful demonstrations in the local area, soon turned into mutual conflicts throughout the country, then into a civil war. With the rising of the local crisis and the spread throughout the country, many actors outside Syria have interfered in the Syrian crisis and the crisis has become a major problem for the regional and international level. The Syrian crisis, which has been unresolved for eight years, has been interfering with numerous and different types of actors, with different purposes and demands, while the actors’ unconsistent demands and conflicting solutions have prevented the end of the Syrian crisis. The local crisis that began in the local Syrian region between the Syrian government and the Syrian opposition groups, has soon become a party to armed non-governmental actors and states on the national level. On the regional and international level, new states and non-governmental actors are interfering with the Syrian crisis, while international organizations are in the forefront of the crisis. In addition, with the turning of the crisis, the Syrian crisis has begun to come to different meanings for different actors. For many actors in the Syrian crisis, the main topic at the beginning of the crisis has influenced the demands and solutions of the actors, including the increased activity of armed non-governmental actors, the use of chemical weapons and international terrorism, during the conflict in Syria. The demands and objectives of numerous and different types of actors related to the Syrian crisis and related issues conflict with each other, while the measures and methods of the parties have made it difficult to resolve the crisis.
