Abstract:

This study has studied the impact of excellence education applied to high school students on the social, emotional learning skills of students. The study included 25(13K-12E) experimental 25(13K-12E) control group of 50 high school students. The announcement of education was made in the schools with poster and students have voluntarily applied for education. Experimental patterns were used in the research. Students have participated in 10 sessions of Excellence Training. The Social Emotional Learning Skills Scale (SDÖB) has been used to measure participants’ social, emotional learning skills. T test for independent samples for the purpose of analyzing the pre-test points of the experiment and control groups before application, t test for independent samples, t test for the purpose of analyzing the difference between pre-test and test points of the experiment and control groups after application and t test for dependent samples. As a result, athletics education has not significantly affected students’ social and emotional learning, communication skills and stress levels, but has not significantly affected problem-solving and self-perception.
