Abstract:

It is important to study the factors that influence the causes of divorce today, where divorces, which are an unwanted situation in society, are rapidly increasing. According to the Turkish Statistical Bureau, the number of marriages has decreased over the years and the number of divorces has increased. The prevention of divorces depends on the proper investigation of the factors affecting divorces. In this study in our country according to the number of divorces in the 3rd place among the provinces of Muğla or Fethiye, 250 people divorced in the province of Muğla or Fethiye face-to-face survey applied factors affecting the divorce, statistical analyses have been investigated and parametric methods have been used. In the applied survey, the demographic information of the participants, the frequency and percentage distribution of the answers to the survey questions, the average of the answers to the questions were analyzed and interpreted. To determine the factors affecting the time of marriage, the layer correlation and regression analyses were used to determine whether there is a difference between female and male participants. The study found that the most influential factor on divorces was the 'violent inability', the divorced women began to work after divorce while they were married while they didn't work, they experienced financial concerns, the individuals most affected by divorces in the family were children.
