Suçluluk duygusu kendilik bilinci duygularından biridir ve kişilerarası ilişkileri düzenlemektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı üniversite öğrencilerinin suçluluk kavramına ilişkin algılarını metafor analizi yoluyla incelemektir. Çalışmaya 278 üniversite öğrencisi katılmıştır. Elde edilen metaforlar betimsel analiz ve içerik analizi yöntemleriyle incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları suçluluk duygusuna ilişkin metaforların üç tema ve on üç alt kategori altında toplandığını göstermiştir. Bu sonuçlara göre suçluluk duygusu hata yapma, norm ihlali ve olumsuz değerlendirilme durumlarında ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu duyguya davranış ve zarar odaklı değerlendirmeler, benlik odaklı değerlendirmeler, pişmanlık, vicdan azabı ve huzursuzluk, acı çekme, zihin karmaşası, yakalanma ve ceza korkusu ve kurtulma isteği eşlik etmektedir. Son olarak, suçluluk duygusu insanları itiraf, telafi ve kalıcı iz deneyimlemeye sevk etmektedir. Araştırma bulguları ilgili alanyazın ışığında tartışılmıştır.
The feeling of guilt is one of the feelings of self-consciousness and regulates interpersonal relationships. The aim of this study is to study the perceptions of university students about the concept of guilt through metafor analysis. 278 students participated in the study. The metaphors obtained have been studied using visual analysis and content analysis methods. The research results showed that the metaphors about the feeling of guilt were gathered under three topics and thirteen subcategories. According to these findings, the feeling of guilt occurs in cases of fault, infringement of the norm and negative assessment. This emotion is accompanied by behavior and harm-oriented assessments, self-oriented assessments, regret, conscience punishment and discomfort, suffering, mind-complexity, fear of arrest and punishment and desire to get rid. Finally, the feeling of guilt drives people to experience confession, compensation and lasting traces. The findings of the research were discussed in the light of the area concerned.
