Abstract:

The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of mind games, mikado games and computer games on the levels of visual motor detection of children with ADHD aged 8-11; to evaluate the pre-test, final test and monitoring tests. Method: This study is a semi-experimental study formed by 3 separate experiment-control groups and applied by pre-test-final tests and monitoring tests. The total number of DEHB students studying in 5 different state primary schools in Kocaeli-Izmit and participating from 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students is 96. The study includes 16 individual experiments and 3 control groups. The experimental application was carried out in 10 weeks. Students are assigned to the groups in the first stage with the purpose sample method, and in the second stage with the simple random method. Personal Information Form is used as a data collection tool with the Bender-Gestalt Visual Motor Detection Test. The data was analyzed by two-factor ANOVA, t test for dependent samples and Bonferroni multi-comparative test. Results: The study found that each of the three games applied in the study reduced the symptoms of visual perception disorder in students with DEHB. The study found that three games contributed significantly to the correction of visual perception disorders in children with ADHD.
