Abstract:

This study aims to determine the relationship of children with personal learning difficulties with their families' depression, anxiety and stress levels, family burden (economic burden, insufficiency perception, social burden, physical burden, emotional burden and time demand) and the main dynamics of social support perceived. The research sample is made up of 291 parents selected through simple random sample from the families of children directed to all the guidance research centers (RAMs) located in the second and third districts of Istanbul. The study conducted an survey application that included "Personal Information Form", "Family burden assessment scale for families with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child with a child. According to the results obtained in the study, the entire family burden scale varies between 1 and 1.52 of the average substances. The participants responded at an average of 5.8 to 6.13 to the social support scale. According to depression, anxiety and stress points, participants responded to all substances between 0.09 and 0.51. The level of family burden varies statistically significantly according to the characteristics of the child. The average social support percentage varies significantly by monthly income. The social support levels perceived differ statistically significantly depending on class and age of the child. As anxiety increases, stress and depression also statistically significantly increase.
