So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

In nursing, it was first mentioned by Peplau and then by King that culture had an effect on mental health and culture was accepted as a concept. Chronic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes and chronic respiratory diseases are the leading cause of death in the world. Therefore, it is an important public health problem in all countries. The culturally appropriate care of individuals is necessary for nurses to provide quality care and at the same time they are legal and moral responsibility of nurses. Culturally appropriate health care has been proposed as a means to reduce health differences among ethnic groups. The literature on cultural competence includes programs for the recruitment of health professionals who can speak different languages and provide appropriate services to different cultures, the development of interpreter services and appropriate patient training materials, the use of health care consultants and the training of cultural competences for health care providers. In this article, we discuss culturally changing health beliefs and cultural awareness with common chronic diseases.
