Abstract:

First of all, the Qur'an has been sent to human prophet to warn everyone including those near him, to teach, to change, and to connect to Allah in a mighty and intelligent way. He transforms the reality of his own value scale, the individual and society, into practice through the Prophet himself. The Prophet inherited the universal values of the Qur'an along with his profound communication, explanation, living, clarification, and restrictions. Sociology, on the other hand, is about systematically understanding society, social groups, institutions and events. Therefore, they seem to have common issues in terms of the Qur'an and the target masses. Of course, one is a divine book, a knowledge which is its own method of understanding the other society. Although these two have a lot of differences in terms of source, method, purpose and principles, it is also possible that they constitute a source for each other. Because sociology needs its meaning map to understand Muslim society, principles, case studies and concepts from the Qur'an. On the other hand, there is a need for sociological research in social structures and institutions to see, understand, and test the Qur'an's social goals. Recent studies on Qur'anic sociology, Islamic Sociology, Religious Sociology, etc. are typical examples of such a need. The subject of studying in this context is to discuss the possibility of reading the sociological Qur'an. The aim is to explain what the nature, the difficulty and the methodical elements of the Qur'an and sociological relation should cover.
