Abstract:

Teaching preparation programs are among the topics that have been highly criticized in recent years. One of the critical criticisms on this issue is that the teacher candidates do not have enough practical experience before they begin teaching. The practical work of teachers candidates in their practice schools is of great value in the direction of creating the first stage of their professional experience. The teaching practice is a synthesis of the field knowledge that teacher candidates obtain throughout the faculty years, teaching professional knowledge and general culture courses. In determining the suitability of behaviors gained in these three dimensions with the relevant teaching fields, teaching practice is a focus point (Gömleksiz, 1991, p.46). But it’s hard to say that I’ve achieved enough success in the teaching faculties.
