Değerler, bir toplumun millî ve manevi kaynaklarına dayanan öz mirastır. Öğrencilerin, değişimin getireceği bireysel ve toplumsal belirsizliklerle baş edebilmeleri için bilgi ve becerilerle birlikte bazı değerlerle de donatılmaları bir zorunluluktur. Bu nedenle bilgi ve beceriler yanında değerler de öğretim programlarında yer almaktadır. Değerler, tarihimiz açısından temel oluşturduğu gibi, en çok ilgili olduğu program ve ders itibarıyla Tarih dersi öğretim programlarında ve kitaplarında yer alması bir gerekliliktir. Anahtar sözcükler: Değerler, Tarih, Öğretim Programları, Ders Kitapları. Abstract: Values are self-inheritance based on the national and spiritual resources of a society. It is necessary that the students are equipped with some values along with knowledge and skills so that they can cope with the individual and societal uncertainties that change brings. For this reason, besides knowledge and skills, values are also included in curricula. As it is the basis for our history, it is a necessary that values are included in the history curricula and coursebooks as they are most relevant with history program. Values are the own inheritance based on the national and spiritual resources of a society. It is an obligation that students are equipped with certain values along with knowledge and skills in order to be able to cope with the individual and social uncertainty that change will bring. Therefore, in addition to knowledge and skills, values are also included in the teaching programs. As values are the basis for our history, it is a requirement to include History lessons in the curriculum and books according to the program and course that is most relevant to them.
