Abstract:

Türkiye’de hedge fonlar 2008 sonlarına doğru faaliyete geçmelerine rağmen piyasaların yeterince gelişememesi, hedge fonlara olan talebin yetersiz kalması ve az sayıda yetenekli hedge fon yöneticisinin olması gibi nedenlerle bu fonların yeterince büyüyemediği bilinmektedir. Çalışmada gelişmekte olan bir piyasa olarak Türkiye’de kurulan hedge fonların performansının analizi hedeflenmektedir. Çalışmanın performans analizi sonuçlarına göre hedge fonların kendi stratejilerine özgü, tamamen piyasadan bağımsız hareket ettikleri ve mutlak getiri peşinde oldukları gözlemlenmiştir.
