Bingöl’de yarım asrı aşan bir süredir faal olan gazeteler, tarihe ışık tutacak birçok bilgiyi de muhteviyatında barındırmaktadır. Nitekim, yıllar öncesine ait gazete sayılarında dile getirilen kentin sorunlarına dair haberler, günümüzdeki gazetelerde de neredeyse aynı başlık ve içerikleriyle dikkat çekmektedir. Yerel basına konu olan, kentteki sorun ve talepleri içeren haberler, günümüzde de benzer şekilde gazete sayfalarındaki yer almaya devam etmektedir. Bingöl basınında 1983 yılından bu yana yayınlanan haberler arasında; hastane yapımının geciktiği, doktor atamalarındaki sıkıntılar, şehirdeki başıboş hayvan sorunu, çevre kirliliği, otopark sıkıntısı, kaldırımlarda yayaların geçişini engelleyen sandalyelerden duyulan rahatsızlıklar ve hatta Bingölspor’un maddi sıkıntıları gibi konuların işlendiği haberler, yıllar geçmesine rağmen yakın tarihli gazete sayfalarındaki yerlerini muhafaza etmektedir.
The newspapers, which are active in Bingöl more than half a century, contain a lot of information that will illuminate the history. As a matter of fact, the news about the problems of the city, which was expressed in the newspapers of the previous years, is attracting attention with the nearly same titles and contents in today’s newspapers. The local news which includes issues and demands in the city, continues to take place in newspaper pages in a similar way today. Among the news published since 1983 in Bingöl press; news about the delayed construction of the hospital, problems with doctor appointments, stray animal problems in the city, environmental pollution, parking problems, inconveniences of chairs blocking the passage of pedestrians on the pavements and even the financial troubles of Bingölspor have kept their places in recent newspaper pages.
