In this article, we will explore the importance of teacher supervision, its various forms, and how it contributes to the success of both students and teachers. Teacher supervision encompasses a wide range of activities and responsibilities. At its core, it involves the observation and evaluation of a teacher’s instructional practices and classroom management. However, its scope extends beyond mere evaluation, encompassing mentorship, feedback, and professional development. One of the primary purposes of teacher supervision is to enhance the quality of instruction. Supervisors observe teachers in action, providing valuable feedback on teaching techniques, content delivery, and classroom management. This process helps teachers refine their skills and adapt their methods to better meet the needs of their students. Effective teacher supervision often includes mentorship and support.
