Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to analyze Foreign Direct Investment with its importance for the national economy and developments about Foreign Direct Investment in Turkish economy Most of developments regarding to Foreign Direct Investment has emerged for Turkey after 2000s This is the reason why this paper has focused on Foreign Direct Investment inflows and outflows beyond 2000s Nowadays it has been realized that Foreign Direct Investment has given great importance to service sector and it has turned towards to this field Related to world developments about privatization mergers and estate holdings are main areas that Foreign Direct Investments have intensified Foreign investment as in the case of service sector Turkey has preferred to invest more in industry moreover she has been acknowleged that industrial sector is as important as service sector Keywords: Capital Flows Foreign Direct Investment Capital Outflows Turkish Economy
