Abstract:

To be influenced by many different factors in organizational life causes differences in employees’ attitudes towards the organization As some of these factors affect employees’ attitudes towards organization positively some affects negatively Some organizational factors such as employees thinking about being treated unfairly in organizational practices reduction of perceived organizational support and violation of psychological contract may lead to an increase in organizational cynicism which is defined as individual’s negative attitude towards the organization where S he is employed In this context the purpose of this study is to determine the effects of organizational justice perception which affects employees’ attitudes towards the organization positively or negatively on organizational cynicism For this purpose organizational cynicism and organizational justice scales in the literature were applied to the employees working as medical representatives at regional directorate of 66 Pharmaceutical Companies in Adana province In the study while organizational justice has been examined with distributional justice procedural justice interactional justice and informational justice as sub dimensions the concept of organizational cynicism is defined as an attitude compose of cognitive beliefs affective feeling and behavioral behavior trends As a result of field research conducted with the help of regional managers it has been founded that there’s an inverse relationship between medical representatives’ perception of organizational justice and their organizational cynicism attitudes Accordingly as the employees’ perceptions regarding the organizational justice decrease their levels of cynical attitudes towards their organizations increase and it has been founded that transactional and informational justice dimensions which are the dimensions of organizational justice perception are the two dimensions describing organizational cynicism attitude best Key Words: Cynicism Organizational Cynicism Organizational Justice Pharmaceutical Industry
