So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

It was proposed that the program of the music education in elementary school level has not been meeting the needs along with all the mistakes that’s been done in this area and that the teachers are often left alone to face the problems by themselves It was targeted to reach each and every thought and standpoint of elementary level music teachers’ by establishing all the challenges that are experienced by them day in day out During the research using qualitative and quantitative research model as the survey research method scanning in the research a questionnaire was used as a means of data collection The research includes all the elementary schools that the music instructors served in the 2008 2009 academic year in the province of Trabzon With this purpose 107 music teachers working in the province of Trabzon have taken part in a survey For the most part the data that was obtained from the research has proved that music teachers have reached the level of elementary music education implementation In addition to lack of music classrooms inadequate music lessons negligence of students parents school principals teachers and society additional problems such as the necessity for a second job just to make ends meet feeling of incompetence which prevents the music education to reach it’s primary goal also have been identified Key Words: Music Music Education Primary Education
